Overview
You want to Filter content like for example community answers to only show the 'accepted' answers.
Information
It is possible to filter content within your community using the following steps:
Note that you need to have Administrator or Super User permissions to perform this task.
- From your AnswerHub site, click the Avatar drop-down menu and select Administration.
The Administrator Dashboard is displayed.
- Select the Content tab.
The Content tab is displayed.
- From the Content Navigation sidebar, select the Manage Content link.
The Content Management pane is displayed.
- Filter the type of content to be displayed by clicking the Content Type drop-down menu and selecting a content type.
- To the right of the Content Type drop-down menu, click the more options link to display advanced filtering options.
The State and Relation filter, Statistics Filter, Users Filter, and Topics Filter menus are displayed at the top of the Content Management pane.
In order to view only content in moderation, you must select In Review (QA), from the with state menu.
- Filter the with or without state by selecting from the following:
- In Review (QA) -Filters questions and answers that are under review.
- Accept (A) - Filters accepted answers.
- Reject (R) - Filters rejected content.
- With Icon (T) - Filters topics with an icon.
- Close (Q)- Filters closed questions.
- Wiki (QA)- Filters wikified questions and answers.
- Publish (P) - Filters published content.
- Delete (*) - Filters deleted content.
If you select the same state in both the with state and without state menus, then no content will be displayed.
- Filter whether users have or users have not by selecting from the following:
- Voted Down (QAC) - Filters questions, answers, and content that has been down-voted.
- Reported (QAC) - Filters reported questions, answers, and content.
- Voted Up (QAC) - Filters questions, answers, and content that has been up-voted.
- Marked Favorite (Q) - Filters questions that has been marked as a favorite by a user.
- Filter by spaces by selecting them from the include spaces or exclude spaces menus.
- Add a Statistics Filter by clicking the Statistics Filter drop-down menu and selecting from the following:
- Score (QAC) - Filters questions, answers, and content by score.
- Usage Count (T) - Filters topics by the number of nodes that are tagged with it.
- Report Count (QAC) - Filters questions, answers, and content by the number of reports.
- View Count (Q) - Filters questions by the number of times they were viewed.
- Comment Count (QA) - Filters questions and answers by their comments.
- Favorite Count (Q) - Filters questions by the number of times they have been favorited.
- Answer Count (Q) - Filters questions by the number of answers that have been given.
- To add the selected filter, click the Add link to the right of the Statistics Filter drop-down menu.
- Enter the minimum and maximum values for each Statistics Filter into the additional fields.
- Filter by specific users by entering the first letters of their username(s) into the add user field (below the Users Filter) and selecting the user to filter by from the list.
The user is displayed below Users Filter with a filter menu.
- Select the filtering option from the listed Users Filter:
- Is Author- Filters content to include only that which the selected user created.
- Voted Down (QAC) - Filters content to include only that which the selected user down-voted.
- Reported (QAC) - Filters content to include only that which the selected user reported.
- Voted Up (QAC) - Filters content to include only that which the selected user up-voted.
- Marked Favorite (QAC) - Filters content to include only content the selected user favorited.
- Filter by specific topics by entering the first letters of the topic(s) into the add topic field (below the Topics Filter) and selecting the topic to filter by from the list.
- To save this filter for future use, click the Save this Filter button.
When saved, the new filter is added to the Content Navigation sidebar under the Manage Content link.
- To refresh the content based on your new filters, click the Refresh button.
The content will re-populate based on your filters.
- To sort the filtered content, select a sort tab at the top of the Content Management pane or select a sort option from the Advanced Sort… drop-down menu.gui
